How to use the raffle generator

  1. Paste your entries. One per line, or separated by commas. A column of names or emails copied from a spreadsheet works as it is.
  2. Choose how many winners you need. Each winner is different, so no one wins twice in one draw.
  3. Decide about repeat entries. Leave "Count repeat entries once" on for a free giveaway where each person gets one chance. Turn it off for a raffle where each ticket is its own entry.
  4. Draw your winners. Draw again any time for a fresh, independent result.

Is the draw fair?

Yes. Every entry has the same chance of winning. The draw uses your browser's secure random number source, the same kind used for passwords, instead of a predictable pattern. Nothing is sent to a server, so no one can see or change the entries.

To make a public draw easy to trust, share your screen or record it while you draw.

Raffle or giveaway?

A giveaway is usually free to enter, with one entry per person. A raffle often sells tickets, so one person can hold several entries. If you sell tickets for money, check the rules where you are: many places treat paid raffles as a form of gambling and allow them only for registered charities or with a permit.

Collecting entries the easy way

Instead of gathering names from comments and messages, share one entry form. It collects each person's name and email in one list that exports straight to a spreadsheet. Paste that column here, and leave repeat entries counted once so no one gets an extra chance. If you run the giveaway at an event, a QR code on a sign lets people enter from their phone.

Tips for a smooth draw

  • Close entries first. Say when entries close, and draw after that time.
  • Draw a reserve winner. If a winner doesn't reply, you can go to the next name without drawing again.
  • Announce winners the way you promised. Use the same channel you used to collect entries.

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw more than one winner?

Yes. Enter how many winners you need and the generator draws that many different entries, in the order they were drawn.

What happens to repeat entries?

With "Count repeat entries once" on, the same name or email counts once, ignoring capital letters and extra spaces. Turn it off when each ticket is a separate entry.

How many entries can I paste?

Thousands. The draw runs in your browser, so a long list from a spreadsheet works fine.

Can I use it for an Instagram giveaway?

Yes. Copy the usernames of everyone who entered, paste them here, and draw. Check the platform's own promotion rules before you start.

Is my data saved?

No. The generator runs in your browser, and the entries you paste are not sent anywhere or saved.
