Quick answer

How do I get new form responses in Slack or Discord?

Open your form's Integrations and choose Connect on Slack or Discord. Approve Reuily for your Slack workspace or Discord server once, then pick a channel for the form. Each new response is posted with its first answers and a link to the full response.

How do I add a Slack channel?

  1. 1

    Connect your workspace

Open your form, go to Integrations and choose Connect on Slack. Slack asks you to approve Reuily for your workspace. You only do this once; every form in the workspace can then use it.
  2. 2

    Pick a channel

Back in Reuily, choose the channel for this form. Public channels are listed straight away. For a private channel, first invite the Reuily app in Slack with /invite @Reuily, then refresh the list.
  3. 3

    Choose what to post

Pick every response, hot leads only, or hot and warm leads, and whether to include answers. Then choose Add channel.

How do I add a Discord channel?

  1. 1

    Add the Reuily bot

Open your form, go to Integrations and choose Connect on Discord. Discord asks you to pick a server and add the Reuily bot. You need the Manage Server permission there. You only do this once per server.
  2. 2

    Pick a channel

Back in Reuily, choose a text or announcement channel for this form. Only channels the bot can view and post in are listed, so check its role if one is missing.
  3. 3

    Choose what to post

Pick every response, hot leads only, or hot and warm leads, and whether to include answers. Then choose Add channel.

What gets posted?

Each channel chooses which responses it gets. Lead levels come from lead mode, so turn it on for the form to post only your best leads.

Every response

Post each new response.

Hot leads only

Only responses lead mode scores as hot.

Hot and warm leads

Responses lead mode scores as hot or warm.

Each message includes

Form and lead level
"New response: Sales enquiry", or "Hot lead" and "Warm lead" when lead mode scored it, with the reasons it gave.
Quiz score
For quizzes, "Quiz result" with the score, the percentage, and whether they passed.
The first answers
Up to eight answers with their questions. Files show by name only, and long answers are shortened.
A link to the response
"View response" opens the form's responses in Reuily, where signed-in teammates see everything.

Turn off Include answers for sensitive forms: the message then only names the form and links to the response. Messages never mention @everyone or roles.

How do I change or remove a channel?

Open the form's Integrations, choose Manage on Slack or Discord, then open the channel's menu. Change what's posted switches between every response and leads, and turns answers on or off. Send a test posts a sample response with example answers, Pause stops posting for now, and Remove disconnects the channel. To disconnect a whole Slack workspace or Discord server, use App connections.

Common questions

Which plans include Slack and Discord?

Every plan, including Free. Free allows one Slack and one Discord channel on each form, Pro up to three of each, and Business as many as you need.

Do I connect Slack again for every form?

No. Connect a Slack workspace or Discord server once under App connections, then each form just picks a channel. Like other app connections, you choose which workspaces in your organization can use it.

Can a channel get only my best leads?

Yes. Choose "Hot leads only" or "Hot and warm leads" when you add the channel, or later from the channel's menu with "Change what's posted". This uses the lead levels from lead mode, so turn lead mode on for the form first.

Are answers posted to the channel?

By default, yes: the first answers appear in the message. Turn off "Include answers" for sensitive forms, and the message only names the form and links to the response in Reuily. Messages never mention @everyone, @here or roles.

Will my earlier responses be posted?

No. Slack and Discord get new responses only, so a channel isn't flooded with old ones. Use "Send a test" to post a sample response with example answers to your form's questions.

Why did a channel stop working?

Posting stops when the channel is deleted or archived, when the Reuily app is removed from the Slack workspace or from a private channel, or when the bot is removed from the Discord server or loses permission to post. Reuily shows the error on the channel. Fix the access, or reconnect from App connections, then send a test.
