Photography templates
Photographers need two kinds of paperwork: a contract with each client, and a release from each person in front of the camera. Both work better signed online than printed and scanned.
Start with an inquiry form to qualify bookings, then send the contract and releases before the shoot.
Which photography form do you need?
- Wedding Inquiry Form TemplateWedding inquiries with date, venue, guest count and budget, tagged by lead mode.
- Photography Contract TemplateFee, deposit, delivery, image rights and cancellation terms clients sign online.
- Model Release Form TemplateA model release with the uses the model allows, and a parent signature for minors.
- Photo Release Form TemplateA photo and video release for events, schools and campaigns.
Tips for photography paperwork
Sign the contract with the deposit
Send the photography contract when the client pays the deposit, so the date is booked and the terms are agreed together.
Get releases on the day
Show the model release QR code on set, and every model signs on their own phone before you shoot.
Qualify inquiries before the call
Lead mode marks couples with a booked venue and a fitting budget as hot, so you reply to them first.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a model release for every photo?
You need one when you use a recognizable person's image commercially, such as ads, stock or brand work. Personal and editorial use often needs less, so check the law where you work.
Can clients sign a photography contract online?
Yes. Clients add their shoot details and sign on any device, and the signed PDF is saved with an audit trail.
Can I edit the contract terms?
Yes. Change any term in the builder and fill in the bracketed amounts for your packages.
