Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as an equine bill of sale?
It works as one. It records the buyer, the horse, the price and the date, and adds terms for the vet exam, trial, papers and warranties.
Should the buyer get a vet exam?
The contract asks the buyer to choose, and records it. Many buyers arrange a prepurchase exam before signing. This is a sample, not legal advice.
Can the buyer sign from another state?
Yes. Send the link by email or text, and the signed contract is saved as a PDF with an audit trail.
