Frequently asked questions

What is a toolbox talk?

A short safety meeting, usually 5 to 15 minutes, held at the start of a shift or job to cover one topic with the crew.

How is this different from a sign in sheet?

A sign in sheet only records who was there. This form records the topic, key points, attendees and concerns, so you have a full record of each talk.

Can crews scan a code to sign in?

Yes. Pair it with the sign in sheet template and a QR code at the meeting spot, or upload a photo of a paper sheet.
