### What should a student behavior contract include?

Clear goals, how progress is checked, the reward for meeting goals, the next step when goals are missed, support at home, and a review date.

### Who signs the behavior contract?

The parent signs online. Many teachers go over it with the student first and write the goal in the student's own words.

### Is this a sample behavior contract?

Yes. It's a starting point, not legal advice. Edit the bracketed terms to match your classroom and school policy.
