# Model Release Form Template

> A free model release form template for photographers and brands. Models choose how their images may be used and sign online, with a parent for minors.

Get a signed model release before you publish or sell images of a person. The model adds their details and the shoot, picks the allowed uses, and signs, so every release is saved as a PDF.

## Frequently asked questions

### When do I need a model release form?

Whenever you publish, sell or advertise with images where a person can be recognized, especially for stock, ads and brand work. Personal and editorial use often needs less.

### Can the model choose how images are used?

Yes. Models tick the uses they allow, such as social media, advertising or stock, and the release covers only those.

### How does this work for models under 18?

A parent or guardian adds their name and signs on the model's behalf, and the signed PDF records who signed.
